Hello
|
Our campaign will begin bright and early on the 2nd March with the results of our survey being released on ITV’s Daybreak. With viewing figures averaging around 800,000, we’re extremely pleased and excited that endometriosis will be featured on the show. |

We’re expecting to get coverage in other areas of the press after the results of our survey are released on ITV, so we’ve got lots of case studies at the ready! Already this year, endometriosis has been featured in Glamour, Healthy, OTC, Take a Break, The Irish Independent, and various local press.

We’ll start a viral campaign during the week by sending out our e-postcard (pictured). The postcard is aimed at women who are experiencing symptoms, but believe it’s ‘normal’ to be in so much pain every month and are suffering in silence. Can you help us reach these women by forwarding on the e-postcard to everyone you know? Add yourself to our mailing list to receive the e-postcard. |
There is a lot more you can do to help us this Awareness Week... find out more here
Here are a set of amazing photographs of the moment of ovulation.

Fascinating!
Dear All
I was wondering if any of you knew of someone or a company who would like to sponsor this website for a year? In return the individual or company would be credited and or have their logo on the site
Its a nominal cost of £35.88 but for only £100 we could upgrade to the Professional version of this website package with more functionality, extra pages and better SEO (search engine optimisation tools) which means we could reach more people who are effected by this condition. If someone wants to help us upgrade to the Professional site then we could add an extra web page to feature them.
This site gets alot of visitors a year but in the new year there will be even more visitors to this site as that will be when the Red Celebrity Campaign we are doing will go live (in conjunction with Endometriosis Awareness Week in March 2011) where this website will be visited by the press/media as well.
Hope some one might be able to help of if you know of someone who might please forward this on? Klarke can be contacted on 07930 433446 or smile@1in10women.org
Happy Christmas to you all
PS You can see the start of the Red Celebrity Campaign here http://www.1in10women.org/page6.htm The latest news will be on here too, so watch this space in the new year :-)
A warm hello on a cold snowy day.

I went to this last year to support a friend who was running for Endo UK. It was such a great event to both watch and take part in.
Santa fun run - get into the Christmas spirit (and outfit!)
Sunday 5th December 2010
Forget filling the stockings; we’ve still got places to fill for the brilliant Santa fun-run next month.
It’s a 5km fun-run around London’s glorious Greenwich Park…. All done dressed up as Santa! Over 2,000 ‘Santas’ are expected to take part in this popular event, so why not get a group of friends together and join them?
This is a fantastically fun and festive way to raise money and even the Santa suits are provided. You can run, jog, skip or walk if you like - it’s suitable for all fitness levels.
E-mail Becs now at fundraising@endometriosis-uk.org with your address to grab your place.
Saturday 27th November 2010, 9.30am - 4.00pm

The role of the Nurse in the fertility journey
The emotional journey through infertility
There will also be an exhibition area including clinics, companies in the field of infertility, complementary therapists, patient support organisations and possibly more.
I am shooting another celeb for the Red Shoot next week. So am getting all the photo props together for the session.
I am surrounded by red designer clothes and as I am the only one here in the studio, I am so tempted to try on a few myself - all in the name of research honestly ;-)
I have nearly finished shooting 'My Worst Symptom' photographs. Just looking for a teenager with endo and women with and without children (as a result of endo). If you have any ideas for symptoms that need shooting or know of someone who might want to model their symptom (either showing their face or not) please get in contact with us at.
I would love to hear your story.
Here are some events that you might want to join in with ;-)

Its all go in the studio here to get things ready for this year exhibition. Essentially its two exhibitions so we have to work out how best to show these together, without distracting from the other.
I love a challenge ;-)
If you know of a celebrity with endo or a celebrity doesnt have it but wants to support the campaign, please can you get in contact via email or call the office on 07930 433467
